Stacking The Shelves is a weekly feature, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where we get to share what books we have recently acquired!

Yesterday I spent my first Christmas in our new house. What is more peaceful then Christmas on the ocean? My parents gifted me 4 books. Then my boyfriend and I had a bookish Christmas and got each other books. That made 6 new books in total that I cannot wait to get to reading soon!

Stacking the Shelves: April 2015 Book Haul

Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where we get to share all the books and bookish things we have recently acquired. Today I am sharing with you my April book haul! I know your all saying, "but Justine isn't it a little late". I am always late on my book hauls, I'm sorry! I even took these photos over a month ago and they have just been sitting on my computer. I did just get back from BEA though and all my new books have pushed me to start getting better at my book hauls. I will probably posting my BEA haul next week so stay tuned for that exciting haul!

I was lucky enough to win an ARC of Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli from Epic Reads. I read it immediately and trust me when I say this one is a must read!
This Book Outlet order actually showed up on my doorstep back in March but I had technically ordered them as a birthday present for myself so my dad made me wait two whole weeks to open them! The box literally would just sit in my living room each day taunting me!

Also, for my birthday my parents were very nice and set me free reign in the bookstore letting my pick out 3 books they would buy for me!

You will probably recognize this is the sequel to Prisoner of Night and Fog which is shown above. I love this series so much that I went out and bought Conspiracy of Blood and Smoke by Anne Blankman  the day it came out.

The beauty An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir showed up on my doorstep at the end of the month after I won it from Jen over at YA Romantics.

Stacking the Shelves: March 2015 Book Haul

STSmall

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where we get to share all the books we have recently acquired.

This week I am showing you guys all the books that I got in March!

As many of you know the sequel to The Winner's Curse came out at the beginning of this month. I love this series so much so I ran to Barnes and Noble to get it the morning it came out. But....they didn't have their copies in yet! I swear I almost cried there on the spot in from of the sales guy. I needed this book so badly though that I headed over to my local independent bookstore and picked up a copy from them. Nobody keeps books from Justine!

This past month I was able to go to an awesome library event. A librarian in my library network had a huge giveaway of tons and tons of 2014 new young adult releases. She was inviting all local librarians to come and browse and pick up as many books as they want for their library and personal collections. My librarians asked me to go with them to help let them know which books they should grab. We probably picked up 5 tote bags of books! Afterwards as a thank you my librarians told me I had to pick a bunch of books for myself. I was super excited because there were tons of books I knew I wanted but I tried very hard to not grab every last book!
The books I picked up were:

Stacking The Shelves: Book Outlet Boxing Day Sale Haul

Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme, hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where we get to showcase the books and bookish things we have acquired recently!

Back in December, Book Outlet held a Boxing Day Sale where you could get 30%-50% off their usual prices. In order to get the books I wanted I forced myself to stay up to 12am to place my order! I was able to get 11 books + shipping for around 36 dollars. It was definitely worth it to stay up! When I got the box in the mail earlier this week I ripped it right open.
You can click on the titles below to learn more about each book.

Did anybody else order books from the Book Outlet Boxing Day sale??

Stacking The Shelves: Christmas Book Haul

Stacking the Shelves
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, where we get to showcase all of the books and bookish things we added to our shelves in the past week or so!

My haul this week is all of the books I was lucky to get for Christmas from my family this past week!

It is hard to see in this photo but the books are all placed in this really awesome vintage book holder/stand my dad got me as another present. I am thinking of putting it on top of my bookshelves to showcase some of my favorite books. My best friend also gave me a gift card to Barnes and Noble which will no doubt be spent in no time. For books I was gifted 7 young adult books, a book of wisdom by one of my favorite Buddhist teachers, and a wicked awesome cookbook that I am super excited to try out. Click on the titles below and they will send you right to the books Goodreads page!
